2023 Swift Campout Registration

The Swift Campout is a self-supported worldwide bikepacking overnighter which takes place annually around the summer solstice. The Hush Money x Boxcar Neal's edition will leave from the shop at 1:00 on Saturday, June 24, and will return approximately 24 hours later. The ride is roughly 20 miles each way of mostly paved roads, though there is likely to be a little unpaved stuff to keep it spicy. Expect some hills but also a leisurely pace. There will only be 24 entries available due to the limited number campsites.

This year we're teaming up with Boxcar Neal's Mixed Luggage Ride, who will be writing the route and leading the ride. We've reserved six campsites at Tucquan Park Family Campground. Your registration covers all campsite fees. Tucquan Park has a swimming pool, basketball court, fresh water, showers, and a camp store for snacks and basic necessities. If you don't want to lug food along, you can order delivery directly to the campground from Ma and Pa Pizza. 

BONUS MILES! The campground is eight miles from Buck Motorsports Park, which is hosting an honest-to-goodness monster truck rally and car soccer game the same evening. If there's enough interest, we'll ride to The Buck for some rootin' tootin' car crushin', then return to the campsite after dark. The Buck has food trucks serving up fried everything and greasy meats. (Entry to The Buck is not included with your registration and it's possible nobody will go but you really can do it! We are also open to organizing car transportation to and from The Buck if enough of y'all ask nicely.)
